New Music Friday

19/10/2018

Checking the weekly new music on Tunify, we notice some divergent releases. Long awaited debut albums of alternative contest winners ànd posthumous work stand side by side.

Last year, the guy with the silky voice, aka Tamino, won the Belgian radio talent show De Nieuwe Lichting. Whispering Sons claimed the 2016 Humo’s Rock Rally victory. Fans of alternative music were eagerly awaiting both releases. Today, they are in for a real treat. Both albums see daylight simultaneously in your Tunify player.

The past twelve months we said goodbye to some music legends. Especially lovers of the French language were grief-stricken. Maurane paid homage to Jacques Brel, who passed away exactly forty years ago, before she herself kicked the bucket last May. Her cover versions can be heard from now on to eternity in your Tunify player. Facing death, Johnny Hallyday recorded 11 new songs last year. Today, his heartfelt eulogy can be heard by the world.

Dark and grim electronic sounds come from the West in the form of new music from Blancmange and How To Dress Well.

Need some cheering up? Some sassy Scandinavians like Neneh Cherry, MØ, Eric Saade, Zara Larsson and Peter, Björn & John will brighten up your day with new sing-alongs.

Metal lovers will be filled with joy when they realize Soulfy, Amaranthe ànd Disturbed all release new work this friday!

Like life itself, your Tunify is a roller coaster of emotions. All aboard!
