This weekend, some living legends with a very impressive track record feel the need to add some extra lines and notes to that list. They proudly present you their latest efforts in soulsearching through your Tunify player.

You should definitely take some time out to listen to the iconic gospel singer Mavis Staples. In a few weeks time, she will blow out eighty candles in one strong, steady stream. Inspired by Martin Luther King, Mavis released her first album exactly fifty years ago. Half a century later, she has not lost one inch of fighting power nor vocal chord strength.

Also in need of some attention and some gigs are the Waterboys. This British-Irish Folk Rock ensemble and their lead singer Mike Scott, know the stages and festivals all around the world and beyond by heart. After 35 years they should know “Where The Action Is” and a tasty pint of Guinness seems never far away.

Last Wednesday the enigmatic Morrissey turned sixty and as a gift to the world, the moody singer releases a new album. During the glory days of his band The Smiths, Morrissey could be found as a poster in almost every teenager's bedroom. Nowadays he seems to be kind a of grumpy old man and attacks everyone who dares to eat meat and/or worship royalty. Becoming a senior softened his heart a bit and today he covers hit records from his idols during his formative years. You can expect songs from Bob Dylan, Joni Mitchell, Roy Orbison, Dionne Warwick, Tim Hardin, Melanie and Carly Simon.

Some other noteworthy new work from Black Mountain, Flying Lotus, Sebadoh, Stray Cats, Andreya Triana, Kygo, Sigala, Lady Antebellum, Jeanette Biedermann, Julian Perretta & Lil Baby, Lana Del Rey, Frenship, Two Door Cinema Club, Emeli Sandé and Will Young among others.

So, roll up your sleeves and get back to work in order to enrich your own track record and skills, whilst listening to the inspirational songs and artists in your Tunify player.
