So many things to love #NMF

An Indian summer, students celebrating the end of their holidays by one last drink on a terrace, a playful kiss on the cheek, a soft breeze, birds singing a catchy melody … There are so many things to love this weekend. Amongst all the beloved artists presenting new music today, there is one lovely Swedish lady who made the act of love her trademark. Literally.

Tove is a very common name in Scandinavia, but the fact that Tove Lo is an anagram of ‘To Love’ is no coïncidence. Tove shot to fame with the Hippie Sabotage Remix of “Habits (Stay High)”. She also wrote a bunch of hits for Girls Aloud, Lorde, Icona Pop and Ellie Goulding. Not only working for other people paid off. Last week Tove released a promising duet with Kylie, the nymph from Down Under. Together they danced suggestively in window frames, were caught wriggling on an innocent couch, moved passionately on a fluffy carpet and/or an empty counter in a random bar…and that was just on a regular Saturday afternoon. The song proved a perfect precursor of a very playful album indeed. From now on, you can pretend every day is a weekend day, thanks to the new music in your Tunify player.

Making a less raunchy reentrance today are the elusive chanteuse Mariah Carey and the sultry Céline Dion. The latest song from Céline is called “Courage”. Is it an English or a French song? With cheeky Céline you never know*

Alicia Keys shows sweet love for Miguel in a stunning new duet.

There is no love lost between the Gallagher brothers, Noel en Liam. The latter releases new songs today. Don’t wait up for Noel's review though. No doubt your judgment will be far more objective and relevant.

There may be a thin line between love and hate but as a true music lover one can not remain indifferent to the latest efforts of  Portland, Marina Kaye, Liam Payne, Luke Combs, Mandy Moore, Keane, Rose, Maroon 5, The Script, Bebe Rexha, Yousef, Zac Brown Band, Robbie Robertson and Blink-182.

Hugging, slow-dancing, twisting, wriggling, rubbing, crawling, squirming, groveling, shuffling, hobbling… all silly moves are allowed on the new music added to your Tunify player this and any other weekend. Of you go!

*Everybody, calm down, it’s in good old English….
