The music world is already waking up from hibernation #NMF

It may be winter outside, but in our musical hearts it’s already spring!
Especially for those who like to move their feet to electronic synth beats now and then, we have excellent new releases in store.

35 years ago, Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe, aka Pet Shop Boys, burst into the music scene ànd charts with “West End Girls”. They never really left that scene ever since. From today on you can stream their fourteenth album, called ‘Hotspot’. You may already know their “Dreamland” collaboration with Years & Years. The producer is electronic wizard Stuart Price, who previously worked with the likes of Madonna, Coldplay and the Killers. The new album is filled with eighties sounds and references. That’s what we call a full circle.

Eefje de Visser is a beloved goddess in the Dutch music scene. Not only by name but also lyrically she likes to refer to the water and the ocean. She grew up near the North Sea and just listening to hear music gives you the feeling of taking a warm bath. So dive into her new album “Bitterzoet” (which means “Bittersweet”) this weekend and enjoy those refreshing esoteric sounds.

Over the past ten years, Scottish DJ Calvin Harris worked his way to the top of the Dance and Electronic charts time and time again. Today he enters the new decade with not one, but two brand new singles!

If you are more into Folk and/or Rock you can get overwhelmed with new work from Gill Landry, Black Lips, AWOLnation, Bombay Bicycle Club, Tom Grennan, Anti-Flag, Green Day, Marcus King, Wolf Parade and Twin Atlantic to name but a few.

In the new year, music lovers will not be left outside in the cold. Tunify will keep your heart and feet warm throughout!
