This weekend we switch to daylight saving time. The associated feelings of happiness and lightness are strengthened by the fresh load of music and artists in your Tunify player.

At seventeen, in the springtime of life, Billie Eilish releases her long-awaited debut. Since the age of 14, this American emo teenager woos the internet with dark yet super trendy songs. Today the time seems right for a full album as she impressed already both her peer group and those ageing music critics. Next month Billie embarks on a world tour. Catch them young, the saying goes!

Meanwhile, in Germany, twentysomething Wincent Weiss is driving those female music lovers wild. With his sophomore album, luscious Wincent tries to equal, if not surpass, the success of his 2017 debut. This Germanic version of Shawn Mendes got noticed in ‘Deutschland sucht den Superstar’, better known as ‘Idols’. His sparkling eyes and music radiate a certain Unbekümmertheit, which tells us that spring definitely is in the air. Or as Wincent and his ladies would call it… Frühlings Erwachen.

Leaving those teenagers and vicenarians behind, we meet thirtysomething talent, Trixie Whitley. Given her ancestry and musical experience, Trixie can teach the aforementioned Billie and Wincent a trick or two. Her dad, the talented American blues musician Chris Whitley lived and worked on and off in Belgium during the eighties. He died in 2005, but his heritage lives on in his daughter. Today Trixie adds a new collection of well-crafted songs to the Belgian music library.

Scottish Edwyn Collins peaked mid-nineties with the song ‘”A Girl Like You”. Come summer, Edwyn will turn sixty, but this weekend he releases a completely new album.

American Glam Rock star Suzi Quatro already peaked in the seventies. Today she startles the world with new music, entitled “No Control”. This sensual 69-year-old aunt of Twin Peaks actress Sherilyn Fenn still knows how to hang loose.

Freshly produced new songs continue to flow from the music well with the likes of Jamie Lawson, Steve Earle & The Dukes, Kelly Clarkson, The Chainsmokers, Tame Impala, Sofi Tukker, Gorgon City, Brutus, Son Volt, Zara Larsson, Rammstein, White Denim, Alejandro Sanz & Camila Cabello and the identical twins from Down UnderThe Veronicas.

All these spring chickens will help you get your freak on this weekend with Tunify!
