Releases that sound like the early years of Rock Werchter #NMF

No Rock Werchter this year, but thanks to the release of Paul Weller we can still look back to earlier editions of the festival.

Tunify-Paul Weller

Like we already noticed a few weeks ago, eightysomethings and boomers show the millennials how it’s done. Are older generations suddenly trending?

Sixtysomething Paul Weller, frontman of The Jam and The Style Council in the eighties, going solo since the nineties, releases his fifteenth album today. Critics are already loving “On Sunset”, this weekend it’s up to you to embrace Paul’s latest efforts. You can warm yourself up for some excellent Britpop, so need to take the ferry across the Channel.

Indestructible at 87, Willie Nelson releases his seventieth (70!) studio album with the fresh title “First Rose Of Spring”. No, it’s not about Keith Richards, but there is a remarkable cover of Charles Aznavour's “Hier Encore”, titled  “Yesterday When I Was Young” on it, besides songs written by relatively young talent f.e. Chris Stapleton, Toby Keith and Pete Graves.  A postponed spring wind mid-summer, for those perennial wild roses of music.

This Friday Bury Tomorrow, Evanescence, Cold War Kids and Dream Wife are causing a commotion in your speakers. Italian songstress Chiara Galiazzo got a voice range that takes you from soft loungy spaces to passionated heights. No emotional stone left unturned, here at Tunify.

Variety is king this week, thanks to new songs from the likes of Kanye West & Travis Scott, Maria Mena, Ellie Goulding & Lauv, Synapson & Flavia Coelho, Bear’s Den, Rumer, Uberdope, Thomas Dybdahl, Patrick Fiori, Disclosure & slowthai, Sault, Coriky, Louane, Fontaines DC, Chapter Two, Admiral Freebee, Kraak & Smaak, DJ Licious, The Radar Station, Buju Banton, Felix da Housecat & Chris Trucher, Blinkie, Baby K, Rhodes, TWICE and Sparks.

Indestructible or emotional, old or new talent, soft, passionate or very loud, all is possible with your Tunify Player. Enjoy the diversity this summer!
